I should've sent this last night....but forgot to press "send".....
Feeling particularly shitty, I went to the bar....wasn't in the mood to drink the gnats-wee beer so had 2 Bombay Sapphires and then saw someone drinking what looked like Sangria...but was told it was 'Dark Stormy' - I said "Whatever it is, I'll have one"....the guy behind the bar gave me two and said "bloody cheer up"....I drank them, and walked the short distance home...through the trees that always make me think, and I sat down - through the smog (it's been particularly grim here for days - I'll try to take a photo that really does it justice!) - and could see a very, very bright star. I chatted for a while & went to bed....
