OiC - "Only in China" MORE photos...

DEADFISH - Many restaurants have tanks of fish (and even toads)which you can select, and they murder them for you, then cook 'em while they are still 'warm' (not that fish & toads are warm-blooded...I is edicated!!) - but this one looked just a bit...dead...so nit at all appetising? Reminded me of Monty Pythons' 'Dead parrot sketch' - I can imagine the restaurant owner saying "It eeez not dead...it ezzz SLEEPING!"

KFC OR NOT KFC...THAT IS THE QUESTION!! - The logo is a bit similar isn't it? But this is Mr Lee's 'take' on fast food, and he's done very well out of it! It's not just shoes and bags they copy here...
I also read a great story about a guy who was in a KFC and saw the food being prepared by a kid not wearing gloves or even a hat to keep his hair out...he complained, but was so annoyed, he ordered 2,000 family buckets, with the intention of lining them up on the steps outside to protest...the manager thought 'WOW!" when the guy slapped a load of cash down to pay for it all, but soon realised what he was intending to do...he thought better of it when the customer piled the first 20 on the steps...and stopped serving...

WARDROBE - On a recent walk around a lake, by some shops selling drinks etc, I noticed this wardrobe on some bricks..."Funny place for a wardrobe!" I thought...then sure enough, I saw a girl come out, open it and hang clothes inside! What happens at night? ONLY IN CHINA!!!

WEIRDFRUIT - I've been given these a lot lately...I'm told they are called 'Mangosteen' or something? You have to rip the skin open with your nails, and what's inside looks...well, sometimes vaguely sexual...sometimes like an internal organ someone cuts out in 'HOLBY CITY' and says "Looks like we got it in time..."...or maybe something from ALIEN that grows in your tummy and then pops out - blood & guts everywhere...

MUSICAL NOTE - Now listening to SEAL while typing...his 6th album - 'Commitment'...some great stuff on there...unique voice & some fab lyrics - makes my heart & soul rip out in parts. Produced by the great David Foster, and you can tell...
