"Something for the weekend, Sir?"

Usual routine at weekend....changed the bedding, and my usual 'fight' with the quilt (getting the bloody cover on) was made easier with a gift from Mrs G....putting the corners of the quilt into the top corners of the cover...apply the clips....shake like fury...it did work, to be fair...sort of....(shit, I'm sounding like an advert on 'THE SHOPPING CHANNEL'!!
Walking into Sanlitun, saw some mad ba$tards diving into the icy water...they'd smashed a big hole in the ice...it's cold enough & thick enough to sit on, fishing through a hole...the swimmers wear 'budgie smuggler' trunks, which...well, I wouldn't, if I wanted to impress any females who may be watching...
On the bridge, there was a fire engine, and we assumed one of the swimmers had had a heart attack & they were fishing the body out. Seems they were just 'practising', with a hose sucking water out of the river and two guys playing with their hoses, squirting the water out everywhere. It looked a bit 'comfy' to us, with one guy holding the other guys hose, with a firm grip from behind...they told us off for taking photos - clearly a matter of state security...
Sanlitun is very colourful - very vibrant. That guy was still shagging the horse from behind, and after the traditional COSTA, my pal had a very 'gay' belt fixed by our usual man, who can fix anything for a quid.
Naturally, the highlight was my visit to the DVD shop - even more films that are only just on at the cinema, so I can check out all the Oscar contenders...some of them are clearly review copies, some even taken from copies given to the JUDGES of the various awards ceremonies!!!
I"ve got about 20 films to watch & review now...sad, but keeps me busy & off the streets...
